Two important initial points:
1) Letters of inquiry and prescreening are unnecessary. This application is the appropriate first step in submitting
a grant request.
2) The foundation's administrative staff is happy to help with technical questions about
the application process but is unable to provide guidance on the fit of the grantee or the structure of the request.
The Wismer Foundation's online grant application form has been divided into three sections: Organization Information; Contact Information; and Proposal Information. The application also asks for the organization budget, the project budget (if applicable) and a copy of the IRS Determination Letter. The form allows you to save your work so you can return to it at a later date. You will receive an email from "Foundation Services" [info @fsllc.net] which will contain a link to your account and an estimate on when you might hear back.
If you previously started or submitted an application, you can access the account you created by clicking here.
If you encounter problems and/or have additional questions, please visit the FAQ's page here.
If, after repeated attempts, you cannot overcome problems accessing the online application form, you may send an email to Foundation Services with the alternate form found here.
