Mission Statement

“The Joan M. Wismer Foundation is dedicated to improving and enriching the lives of youth and adults. The Foundation focuses its efforts in the Middle Atlantic and Southern California regions of the United States. The Foundation supports programs in the following areas: Education & Development for Disadvantaged Youth; Job/Skills Training & Placement; Homelessness; and Medical & Scientific Research.

While the Foundation has previously supported efforts addressing Food Insecurity, Safety & Humanitarian Services, and the Arts, its current funding in these areas is fully allocated. ”
